Heels that cause accidents, sometimes even when they're not on your feet

Aretha Franklin loves her Jimmy Choos, but they don't love her back. The singer was sent to the hospital with a fractured toe last week after she stepped on her spiked Choo shoe. That's right, she wasn't even wearing them when they injured her. Just stepping on one of the heels was so extreme it sent her ankle on a one way train to twist city.

Add it to the annals of accidents caused by architecturally impossible footwear. In April, U.S. Open tennis champ Kim Clijsters tore ligaments in her ankle when she stepped on someone else's foot while wearing heels at a wedding. She had to keep her foot immobile for a month following the misstep.

In Australia, a woman was recently awarded around $60,000 after she tripped and fell down the stairs of a hotel she was staying at. Her nude stilettos actually became key evidence in her court case, and stood trial as a considerable cause of the fall. In the end, the judge decided that women were entitled to their heels even if it leaves them more susceptible to accidents.

But some shoes are more dangerous than others. We asked the experts of footwear which ones have a higher rate of accidents. Here are the biggest types of problem heels, and some less risky alternatives.

Its was just a laugh trip when i still remmber when im riding a train going to office eh kasi naman ang aus aus ng suot mo at pag labas mo lasug lasug ka na at halos makahalikan mo ang katapat mo at syempre naman ang magkasangaan kayo ng boobs kung meron naman hahaha... even you came at the lrt before 7am may mas maaga pa sayo day! hahah at worst pa neto kapag nasira ang train gosh!... sa pag uwe mo naman same scenario so wats new db? pero eto naman anu ba ang mga taong isa pa sa nakakasira ng araw mo? i just read it in yahoo and its informative for me...

Here are some examples of people you don’t want to meet in any of the crowded trains in Metro Manila:
The Crazed Addict – For whatever reason, this is the person you’d most hate to be riding with in a train. The crazy addict would tend to mumble or talk a lot of nonsense and even argue about anyone he thinks is sneering at him. The Preacher – Buses are no longer the domain of religious fanatics who preach the Bible to passengers. These types of persons are still rarely seen in metro trains. Sadly, even the loud sound of the train traveling on metal tracks isn’t enough to drown out the sound of these people who scream at the top of their voice in order to let everyone in the train cab hear the Word of God. The Glutton – There are reasons why eating is prohibited in trains and they’re almost always related to trash and also the odor of food in a crowded, air conditioned train. Even in small amounts, it’s not ethical to eat inside trains. If everyone does it, imagine the leftovers, the trash, and the smell of the train. The Talker – People using mobile phones tend to speak louder than normal, which is acceptable if they’re in wide open spaces. But think about what other passengers in a train would be thinking when they hear you speak loudly about your life story to someone else on the other line. While other people wouldn’t mind, it’s still annoying for others. Now, imagine a vulgar passenger spewing profanities at someone on the phone, like this woman during a train ride (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCgQd1ZdNQI). Now that would be really annoying.
The Smooch -- It’s okay for couples to show how much they’re in love by giving a smack or two but what if it becomes too much that it’s no longer a tender kiss but a full-blown make out session? Yes, these couples can say they’re just being in love but we’re still in a country where the most often comment in seeing such people is “get a room.” But what if the make out session is between two guys (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4g_X95BEaoI) like these two?
The Smelly – Passengers with bad odor is fairly common in train rides, especially during rush hour in the morning and late afternoon. Due the Philippines’ constant humidity, the odor of tired, sweaty people can become overpowering. Add to the problem of crowding and the absence of air conditioning, people could literally lose consciousness when the odor becomes too much.
The Bully – There are people who think they require more space inside the train than everyone else so they push others aside in order to get more space. They complain about feeling suffocated and would let everyone hear it. There is no reasoning with these people and even if someone tries to tell them to get off the train and take a cab (which is actually the best recourse for these bullies), those who intervene would only get a dose of screams and curses.

Quick brief: SARAIH is a biblical name saraih turns to sarah, SARAH means PRINCESS, and in cambodia SARAIH means a woman.

Actually i have many nicknames hindi ko talaga alam kung bakit, at kung bakit ba kailangan pa ng nickname eh ang unique ng name ko hahaha... isa-isahin ko ah!

CHABENG - i dont know what is the reason bakit ganon ang tawag sakin nung nakatira pa kame sa tondo ng mga kapitbahay namen pauso kasi un ni ate linda meaning ata nun maganda't maharot harfharf!

SARANG-GE - hate this nick name grrrr.... but i love the person who called me si lolo juanito sumalangit nawa ang kaluluwa nya... :(

SARAYRAY - i dont like this nick at super asar ako kapag ganito tawag sakin hmft!panget panget eh hmft! pang-inis..

SARAO - etong name na to alam nyo na kung anu yan first jeep yan sa philippines, i was in grade 2 nung pinag aralan namen un at nagtawanan ung mga classmates ko at lumingon sakin huhuhu diba? nakakapahiya hmft...

SAI - this nick was given to me ni shiela my kababata kasi daw ang haba daw ng name ko, and so taka! kasi naman 6 letters lang ang name ko,, mahaba nga ba? o sa una mahirap sabihin...

PRINXEZ - i used this nick in my call center job before then just to make paate iniba ko ang spelling...

SASA - now this is my latest nick... more appropriate to my name pag sinabeng short shortness talaga.. bakit sasa? its my first 2 letters in my name so to make it unique i make it sasa heheheh...

I really love this kids as you know im unica hija so enjoyed being with them. Most of the time i had a chance i make a point na i must be on leave hehehe... This time its daves birthday we celebrate it at bulacan in austria's crib hindi ko pinapalagpas ang pagkakataon na to! at alam nyo naman mahilig ako sa picture so i take pictures, i like taking pictures to this kids coz kids have a natural emotions na you dont need to say to them how to pose like this like that right?! Pap and Mom with there two grand children Carl w/ pap and Jared with Mom

I just want to share this story, my pap is always there for me everytime i need him and sometimes even i dont hehehe... he so makulit now a days baka kasi matanda na and sometimes annoying hahaha... kasi madaldal at kwentu ng kwentu... pero kahit ganun ang pap ko he is my ever dearest man that i have i my entire life maliban sa bf ko ah? di naman pwede i-compare you know that huh!?. Si pap ang tipo ng tao na kapag nagsalita totoo at dapat mong sundin dahil kapag hindi mapapahamak ka. I remember when i was a kid everytime we go home from church i always nagkukunwaring tulog hehehe bakit? kasi para kargahin ako ni pap heheh katamaran diba? pero you know what i done that even im in grade 6 hahah diba? malaki na ko nun? but pap is always carrying me even im malaki na that time at eto pa pagdating sa bahay gising ako at nanunuod ng t.v oh diba pasaway lang? yan ang pap ko hindi mareklamo. Si pap ang headphone ko nung bata pa ako lagi nya ako hinehele para makatulog ako its just a hymth but still i fall a sleep. Si pap before when im in high school ayaw nya ako mag bf.. hehehe di naman maiwasan maganda ako eh hihihi joke! that time im in 4th year high magka college ako nun sabi nya sakin "saraih pangarap o relasyon" nung oras na un hindi naman nya alam na may bf ako pero dahil ayaw ko magsinungaling dinala ko bf ko kaso dahil sa pinapipili ako mas pinili ko parin ang pangarap ko now tapos na ako at may magandang trabaho, salamat kay pap pinapili ako hehehe... I just want to thank god for giving me a father like him pap its not almost perfect but for me as a whole he the best pap in the world "I LOVE YOU PAP" i really do po..

Yesterday me and my papang went to MOA to buy a new shoes, we go in the sm dept. twice to seek some stiletto there unfortunately wala nanaman ako nagustuhan so we go in the CELINE my fave kaso wala pa din so we go on walking and everytime na may makikita akong shoe store hinihila ko agad si papang hehehe may sakit pa nga sya nun...as we go on i saw a shop na walng tao at maliit lang and i was so amaze kasi naman i so so love plastic shoes and sandals...

and then sa sobrang saya ko lahat tinignan ko then i saw my wedge sandals ther so mahal grabe 3500 coz my moms bought it only 800 in her korean friend and that was the cheapest there at ung nagustuhan ko 8k, halos maiyak ako kasi kapag inipon ko un parang konti nalng makakabili na ako ng gusto kong android phone or digicam na samsung, sobrang sad ako at teary eyes kay papang baka kasi bili nya ko eh hahaha...
and then after that we go again in the sm dept. and i saw in the slippers section (jessica) bota...
some kind of bota pero its designed as a wedge sandals so super saya nanaman ako at sale pa un 500 binili ko agad pero di parin ako makakatulog sa melissa shoes na gusto ko...

do you like it to? its near at the movie house i dont remmember the exact name of the store but its like gedai or gelai something like that hahaha...

Nonsense people - napakadaldal na tao na napaka sabatera hmft!

Plastik - ako ung taong di pala ngiti at ngingitian ko ko lang ang gusto ko, atleast di ako plastic di katulad ng mga taong nakangiti sayo pero pag talikod mo madami ng sinabeng masama sayo.

Feeling danda - inis ako sa mga mga taong feeling ganda, ako pa naman ang taong mapamintas (lahi namen yun!) heheheh... kung maka pag -MOKE-UP? walang bukas?

Mapuna person - alam nyo naman na kung makapagbihis ako everyday summer diba? pero alam ko naman kung anung bagay sakin at hindi.. at alam ko naman kung dapat suotin o hindi dahil di naman ako dairing magdamit kakaiba lang talaga kung minsan.. pinipilit ko na nga maging simple eh!

Pampam - bwisit na bwisit ako sa sa napaka papansin na tao grabe lalo nat alam na nga nya na di ko sya gusto grrrrrr......

Nagmamatapang - ayoko sa mga taong napaka tapang pero duwag naman pala talaga ayoko kasi na inaaway ako kasi di ako palaaway pero sadyang may mga taong nakakabwisit na papakitang matapang sila at ikaw mapaphiya dahil ayaw mo nalng patulan...

Pa sweet - di ko feel ang taong pa sweet mas ok sakin ung pa girl pero ung over acting lalo nat di na bagay kakapikon db? lalo nat di natural...

Matipid na wala sa lugar - mahilig ako kumaen pero takang taka ako sa mga resto na napak tipid na magbigay ng tissue, condiments etc... inis diba?

Scenario--- nataponan ako ng fish sauce.

Canteen DMCI:

Me: ate pahinge po ng tissue.

CAshier: eto po (inabut isa lang at manipis)

Me: ate dalawa po kame pahinge pa po?

Cashier: Eto po mam oh! (binigay dalawa at manipis)

Me & Papang: hahaha dalawa nga? (deep in side gusto ko sabunutan eh)

as you can see theres a few posted image that i have in day-04 books, baka naman isipin nyo im not a reader? actually i am but some pero hindi talaga ako pala bili kasi binibigay lang sakin yan hehehe.. and if i wanted to read kapag talagang maluwag ang oras ko i go to the mall alone and read in the national bookstore kasi they have a sample books and magazines there na pwedeng pwede ko basahin heheh... for free tambay mode lang ako dun kasi i mas nararamdaman ko ang peace of mind eh, but you know what i really wanted to buy a book na series para may sinusubaybayan ako kaso naman napaka mahal ng gusto hehehe at sana may magbigay ng book na bagay sakin kasi minsan kakapili ko i end up with nothing hehehe...

Its Friday Bad luck for me (huhuh)

Everyday i wake up early to go in the office, since we move in taguig it takes 30mins only so tamad akong bumangon ng maaga kasi lapit lang ako eh hehehhe.... this morning i woke up 6:15am and then before taking a bath i need to drink first my slimming coffee then when its finish i take a bath for 30 mins. kasi madaling madali na ako... after that i was supposed to find my clothes in my caban (na napaka gulo sa kakasukat ng damit) so it takes another minute, tapos baba ako dahil may kukunin ako nadulas ako sa hagda shocks super sakit ng pwet ko (my asset :p) after that i walked very fast (past 7am) malayo na ako samen para sumakay sa sakayan ng trikcycle while waiting bibili sana ako ng pandesal sa bakery ang kaso natapilok naman ako huhu kasi naman bakoku aun nasira ang red sandals ko danda pa naman nun! inaus ko na muna un sa tapat ng bakery at hindi ako nakabili habang inaaus ko un nasugatan naman ako kasi may alambre pala un sa loob after that nagmadali nanaman akong nagalakad pabalik ng bahay pawis na pawis na ako super init kasi pag dating ko sa bahay mega hanap pa ako ng babagay sa damit kong napaka simple naman coz its friday wash day sa office harhar! so un bumalik ako sa sakayan at sumakay it takes 5 mins para makarating ako sa sakayan papuntang pasay so nahirapan nanaman akong sumakay kasi rush hour na so mega antay ako ng 10 mins. tapos nung nakasakay na ako traffic naman ang drama sa kalsada dahil sa maynilad nakuh! at nag pagasolina pa si manong aun nakatulog pa nga ako sa jeep sa sobrang tagal pag gising ko magallanes na tapos sakay ako ng sidecar eto si kuya nagantay pa kainis diba? nakarating ako sa office ng 8:02 shuckssssss... late ako?! buti nalang may grace period! hmft! so ngaun ayaw ko na gumising ng 6:15am dapat yata 5:00am diba? para di ko na maranasan un!
